San Francisco, Part I - "Coffee, Crepes, and Catching-up"

Tim and I arrived in the Bay Area after almost 24 waking hours. We got in a quick few hours of sleep, then headed to a much anticipated brunch at Crepes on Cole. This creperie was an old favorite of mine when I lived in San Francisco's Sunset district. I would take all of my visitors and guests there; I developed a love for this sweet, Cole Valley breakfast locale.

T and I were famished, so we ordered two savory "Bonjour" crepes and one sweet chocolate and strawberry one to share.

We also ordered two cups of StRoNg coffee to give us the jolt of jAvA we were looking for. The owner politely informed us that we were welcomed to free refills (the limit was 15 per person).

After polishing off a humongous brunch, we headed downtown, walking and talking, and enjoying the sunny SF morning.

A Recreated Bonjour Crepe

1 crepe
2 eggs, scrambled with goat cheese, chicken apple sausage, bell peppers, and onions

Serve with a warm slice of sourdough bread and greens.

Later that evening, we check out Bar Jules in Hayes Valley.

A quaint, hipster-loving restaurant with a daily rotating menu of local and seasonal foods was right up our alley (in Hayes Valley) **haha**.

I opted for the vegetarian option (lentils, frisee, and roasted red peppers) but I heard the skirt steak was to die for!
Check out these beautiful women! (The wine was delicious, too!)

Stay tuned for fab farmers' market photos, a Chez Panisse + Bob Dylan recap and some other fantastic San Francisco eats that ya just can't miss!
